Programme

We are planning the practical sessions basis of a questionnaire to new and continuing members. In particular we want to structure these to be of most benefit to those just starting with a digital camera as well as for those with more experience of digital imaging.

Meeting are held at Chenderit School, Archery Road, Middleton Cheney at 7:30pm on Mondays. Unless stated otherwise.

Members bring their prints for discussion. Also bring image results (prints or memory sticks) produced from advice given by speakers earlier in the programme (e.g. Macro, HDR and Panoramas).

Northern Legacy - Harold Robinson Print Exhibition

   

Harold Robinson was a member of the Banbury Camera Club from 1999. His son Mark has arranged a superb exhibition of Harold's photographs from the 1950s and 1960s which has already been shown in Burnley. Mark has also produced the book Northern Legacy which can be viewed and purchased from http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1599770.

Jack Keen Cup judge: Andrew Spackman. The cup for those who have not been placed or commended in a club competition in 2011/12. Followed by the competition for images taken at club events, judged by members present. Two prints per member per competition.

Print Battle with Badby and Buckingham at Banbury

   

Judge: Colin Southgate FRPS DPAGB from Harpenden PS.Each club enters 16 prints in this competition for the Rosewood Award. 

   

This meeting is in the Dining Room at Chenderit - the same entrance as for the Michael Heseltine Gallery.

Come along and elect new officers and committee, review the rules, have your say on the future of Banbury Camera Club, and enjoy refreshments to mark the "end of term".
